So sorry Elizabeth – I didn’t see your second comment. My apologies. No, won’t be able to go to the March. I’m trying to do my activist work through the written word – of course, my book. Agreed! We do have a long ways to go. Are you going to the national march in October? (I live in Wisconsin so we are organizing an epic bus trip for this thing.)

This raid was outrageous, but I’m so glad there has been an activist/community response to it. I think the resurgence of activism around lgbt civil rights will start to make it clearer that this won’t be tolerated.
