Graphic Design For Dummies & Cheapskates

Writers Using Canva.com

Canva.com

OK, I know we writers aren’t generally dummies, and we’re not necessarily cheapskates (just usually poor), but making cool web designs – whether they be for your website or a blog post – is probably not one of our greatest skills. (Maybe you’re lucky and are awesome at both – High-fives to you!!). Jane Friedman, an expert at finding cool sites and tools for writers, suggested Canva.com for a writer’s graphic design projects. AND IT’S EASY!! AND IT’S FREE!! (At least the “personal” package). They provide many free pics and graphics, and only charge $1 for each premium image/graphic out of more than 1 million on file. And it’s drag & drop. Easy.
