Most of us truly want to do well at work. We want to feel that we are valued, that our ideas have merit and deserve consideration. Supervisors should realize that the best results are people-driven. If an employee knows their supervisor truly cares about them, and respects their opinions, she will work harder to reach the group’s goals.
